The Blue and Red combination pencils were always in my Grandfathers wood shop. As a child I never saw this type of pencil outside of my Grandparents house in Maine, I would love when I had to a chance to use them. They were usually for when my Grandfather was drawing out more complicated plans, but there was always one or two worn down ones in the pencil jar inside the house that I could use for drawing.
I am not sure if this one is from my Grandfather's house or is one I bought later in life, but it is quite used. In fact it is held together with tape and the blue lead is falling out, but I think there is at least one really good idea in it.
